The "Route" (Subject to Change)

Back in 2023 when we decided to pack up and hit the road, we had a pretty specific route in mind. "Down the East Coast", we said, "to visit friends and family." An itinerary, if you will. As for our plan after that, we trusted that we'd run into people and places that would pave the rest of our journey. 

We imagined we'd eventually settle in a house, hopefully in a place we love with people we love. 

We left Hallowell, Maine on August 16th of 2024.

Well here we are in March 2025 and we've mostly executed that plan. It's been exciting, inspiring, exhausting, challenging and very rewarding. And now it's time to decide what to do next. 

We're certainly not done being on the road. 

Here's what our next few months on the road look like:

• Meander West through the South along the Gulf of Mexico in late March, 
• Cruise through Texas in early-mid April,
• Hang out in New Mexico/Arizona/Colorado in late April to May, 
• Visit Max's brother north of Denver in late May,
• Head back East for some summer obligations until August,
• then head back West for the next two years
